AWARDS
Each year the Family Links Planning Committee recognizes outstanding individuals in the community. They may have overcome challenges themselves, made excellent contributions toward the improvement of lives of families of children and youth with disabilities, or made a difference in the life of you and others. Please take an opportunity to nominate someone that has touched your life.
The four categories of awards that will be given at the 2011 Family Links Conference are:
• Family Member of the Year
• Professional/Advocate of the Year
• Individual with a Disability of the Year
• Legislator/Policy Maker/Advocate of the Year
Please send your name, contact information, category and a brief description of why you are nominating an individual to receive one of our awards. Please send the information to awards@utahfamilylinks.org. Award winners are selected by our awards committee. Individuals that are chosen will be recognized during the Friday evening session of the conference.
